Ask HN: Is everybody's Claude weekly quota reset time the same?

maybe it's like TM, and we're not supposed to know.

for me, weekly reset is (has always been? surprisingly constant despite all the other UI/UX/model motion) 4P ET thursday, rain or shine, regardless of plan.

knowing what i know about software release cycles/superstitions/wisdom, it feels like it might be one and done. which would be nuts!

anybody know? apologies if dupe!

    No mine is weds and i often experience a second weekly reset on friday. I dont understand or question it

    I believe that it's because you always start Claude at the same time. It has about 5-hour reset cycle

    It's fixed per account, unlike ChatGPT's which starts when you use it.

    For me, Claude's limits have been increased by 50% till 19 August.

      idk about terrible idea but it would just put a super crazy load on their servers every week at the same time, one presumes? unless they are in it for the sport. i mean, it's not like i personally am in the habit of sweating my weekly quota reset, but it happens, and i am very focused on when i can get back to it. but maybe that's not most people. sounds like it's staggered.
